What gynaecologists
most often ask us.

Why not one of the established practice management systems?
Established practice management systems are solidly built — for the reality of 2015. They work via a growing world of plugins: phone, online appointments, AI modules, prescription requests, self check-in — each function its own provider, each connection an interface that has to be maintained. We build directly on an AI-native cloud platform that has all of this in one system from the start. No adapter stack, no ten maintenance contracts.
Do I still need a local IT firm on site?
No. Because the platform runs in the German cloud, there is no server in the practice, no server maintenance, no hardware depreciation. You need a stable internet connection, nothing else. A classic IT firm for local server support is no longer needed at all.
How secure is my patient data in the cloud?
The platform is operated in German data centres, is GDPR-compliant and KBV-certified. Data migration, encryption and backup strategy are part of our onboarding. The cloud is more secure today than a server in the practice, because professional data centres maintain a far higher security level than any individual practice IT.
Do I have to join the FRAUEN ÄRZTINNEN network?
No. The complete AI solution is also available without brand membership — you then keep your own practice name and continue under your own company name. The FRAUEN ÄRZTINNEN network is an optional premium tier on top: DPMA-protected brand, city protection within a 30 km radius, a shared web presence. Many founders choose it for the brand value — but it is your own decision.
How quickly am I actually live?
For a new opening we reckon on twelve weeks from kickoff to going live. That covers platform setup, master-template adaptation to your focus areas, assistant training, sandbox tests and the live launch. In special cases (e.g. taking over existing patient data from a legacy system) it can take longer — we clarify that in the 15-minute call.
What happens if the platform ever goes down?
The platform runs on a redundantly designed German cloud infrastructure. Downtime is extremely rare and short. In the rare case of a disruption, the 24/7 platform support steps in. In addition, we are your escalation point on the practice side — you have one contact, not ten.
What is the cost structure?
GYNFLUENCE charges the initial setup, guidance and consulting as a one-off setup share — and, on joining the network, additionally the brand licence with a base fee and revenue share (capped, decreasing from year 6). The ongoing licence for the cloud platform runs separately — we clarify that transparently in the 15-minute call. In total, the overall costs are in the range of your current cloud practice management system plus plugin licences, often lower. One-off entry shares are usually eligible for funding via the BMWK's Digital Jetzt programme.
What happens if, after six months, I realise it is not a fit?
An exit is contractually regulated and possible. We make our living from it being a fit — not from locking you in. In the 15-minute call we explain the contract in detail and answer all legal questions before any signature.
